| The Embryology and PGD Academy UKhas been established by Professor Joyce Harper and Alpesh Doshi who have been leaders in the field of education of IVF and PGD for over 20 years. Our aim is to educate and give hands on training in the laboratory aspects of clinical embryology and preimplantation genetic diagnosis and to help establish new IVF, biopsy and PGD labs. The team have been organizing hands on PGD workshops since 1996, initially at the Hammersmith Hospital and then at University College London, as part of UCL Centre for PGD. The UK workshops are awarded continued professional development points from the Royal College of Pathologists. Joyce and Alpesh also organize workshops in other countries. |
This accreditation aims to pool together the knowledge, group the talent & share the operational skills of ART. Exchange of views, and ideas all aimed towards improving the efficiency & subsequently enhancing the functional skills of the candidates - the ultimate goal of this endeavor.
